Max Verstappen annihilated his opposition during qualifying for the NLS round at the Nurburgring in sodden conditions, ending 13 seconds faster than others in his class.
The Dutchman is taking part in the event this weekend, in a toned-down Porsche Cayman CT4, and in rainy conditions, set an intial fastest lap for his class of 10m:39s, lowering it to a 10:34 next time by, nearly a minute faster than the next best ProAm driver.
Ultimately, Verstappen demolished the opposition, with a fastest time of 10:21.591, ending nearly 13 seconds faster than class rivals, setting the sixth fastest time of any Porsche Cayman and just 10 seconds behind the Cayman class leader.
A whopping 69 seconds were put on the second fastest in the guest driver category, but it should be pointed out that Verstappen's time is relative to those Porsche Caymans with the full allocation of 425bhp.
As he is a rookie driver, his car is limited to 300bhp.
The race begins at 12pm CET, 11am BST.
