Oscar Piastri has scored another significant victory over Lando Norris and Max Verstappen going into the Dutch Grand Prix.
Championship leader Piastri, who holds a nine-point advantage over McLaren team-mate Norris going into the race at Zandvoort, pulled off a surprise by landing pole position for the 72-lap event, pipping Norris by 0.012s.
Norris won last year's race from pole position and was fastest in all three practice sessions, which indicated he had the edge over Piastri, yet the Australian had the final say.
In the latest RacingNes365 poll, we asked you, our loyal readers, who you felt would win the Dutch GP, and despite the threat of Norris and Verstappen behind him on the grid as they start second and third respectively, you overwhelmingly voted for Piastri.
The 24-year-old netted more votes than Norris and Verstappen combined - 2779, compared to the 1239 and 1058 for the Briton and Dutchman respectively.
Overall, Piastri totalled a fraction under 50% of the total votes - 49.8, to be exact, whilst Norris collected 22.2%, and Verstappen 18.96%.
Of the other options, from seventh on the grid, Lewis Hamilton was the best of the rest in the poll, collecting 4.15%, finishing ahead of the three others drivers ahead of him in Racing Bulls' Isack Hadjar, Mercedes' George Russell, and Scuderia team-mate Charles Leclerc. The trio combined only amassed 3.38%.
