Earlier this week, Red Bull announced it had extended Sergio Perez's deal, locking him in until the end of 2026. Perez has raced for Red Bull since 2021, winning five grand prix for the Milton Keynes-based squad. The Mexican driver struggled for form throughout the 2023 campaign while Max Verstappen dominated en route to his third world championship title. After a stronger start to the year this time around, Perez endured difficult rounds in Imola and Monaco respectively.
