Carlos Sainz Sr. has suffered a big incident in the second stage of the 2025 Dakar Rally, which is taking place in Saudi Arabia.
The legendary rally driver and father of Williams F1 racer Carlos Sainz Jr. flipped his Ford M-Sport Raptor vehicle during the 327th kilometre of the endurance event.
Fortunately, Sainz Sr. and co-driver Lucas Cruz were unharmed and have been able to continue in the race, despite the heavy damage sustained.
They currently lie P20 in the Ultimate car category, which is being led by Toyota's Yazeed Al Rajhi and Timo Gottschalk.
