Liam Lawson crashed out of Singapore Grand Prix practice, causing major damage to his Racing Bulls machine.
On his soft tyre qualifying simulation, the rear of Lawson's machine stepped out as he rounded the left-hander of Turn 17, slapping the right-hand side of the car into the concrete wall.
Immediately, the right-front tyre broke away from the car as Lawson ground to a halt in the pit-entry with major damage, including to the rear of the car.
He was 12th at the time, just ahead of team-mate Isack Hadjar.
It was the second red flag in a short period of time, following George Russell losing the Mercedes under braking at Turn 16, ripping off the front-wing and causing minor damage, but enough to rule him out of the session.
