Liam Lawson has delivered Racing Bulls a clear message that is must "keep pushing the limits", following a very positive opening day in Montreal. 

The New Zealander enjoyed an excellent first day of the Canadian Grand Prix and ended it 10th on the timesheets, directly behind Max Verstappen and directly ahead of Isack Hadjar

Former F1 racer Paul di Resta has suffered the first big incident of the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours in the #93 Peugeot machine. 

Approaching the end of the first hour, di Resta was making his way through back-marker LMGT3 traffic of the #150 Ferrari machine at the Porsche Curves.

George Russell secured pole position for the Canadian Grand Prix, in a frenetic finish to Q3 in Montreal.

The Mercedes driver set a stunning 1m 10.899 to deny Max Verstappen pole position, with Oscar Piastri completing the top three.

Yuki Tsunoda hammered with severe penalty by Canadian GP stewards

Yuki Tsunoda has been handed a 10-place grid for overtaking Oscar Piastri under red flags in Canadian Grand Prix final practice.

FP3 had been red-flagged for debris after Piastri slapped the Wall of Champions on a flying lap, giving himself a right-rear puncture, as he then crawled back around to the pit-lane.

George Russell has aimed a dig at Max Verstappen's penalty points situation after stealing Canadian Grand Prix pole at the death. 

After the first runs in Q3, Russell was third, 0.268s behind Verstappen's benchmark time of a 1:11.248.
