Lewis Hamilton has been hit with a huge five-place grid penalty for the Italian Grand Prix next weekend, following an incident before the lights went out at Zandvoort.

Hamilton suffered a disastrous Dutch Grand Prix after crashing out on lap 23 at Turn 3, following an uncharacteristic mistake.

Lando Norris just 'wants a burger and go home' after painful Dutch GP exit

Lando Norris conceded after his painful Dutch Grand Prix retirement that all he wanted was "a burger and to go home".

Norris was poised to net a sure-fire second position behind McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri at Zandvoort when his McLaren suffered what appeared to be a Mercedes power unit issue with seven laps remaining, forcing him into immediate retirement.

Toto Wolff confirms 2026 Mercedes F1 driver pairing

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has confirmed that it will retain both George Russell and Kimi Antonelli for the 2026 F1 season.

The Austrian revealed it would continue with its current drivers following a mixed Dutch Grand Prix, which saw Antonelli handed multiple penalties.

Charles Leclerc makes Kimi Antonelli accusation after nightmare retirement

Charles Leclerc accused Kimi Antonelli of having "misjudged" his overtaking attempt on the Ferrari driver which "ruined" his race, given it resulted in a retirement for the Monegasque.

Leclerc was spun by Antonelli at the banked Turn 3 on lap 53 after exiting the pit lane on cold tyres, whilst the Italian had more grip due to pitting a lap earlier.

'Stupid' Liam Lawson racing 'approach' slated by Carlos Sainz after latest clash

Carlos Sainz has questioned the "approach" taken by Liam Lawson to his style of racing in F1 following another collision between the pair in the Dutch Grand Prix.

Although Sainz was found at fault for the lap 27 incident that left both drivers forced to make immediate pit stops after sustaining punctures, the Williams driver was adamant post-race that it was Lawson who sparked the situation.

Isack Hadjar makes F1 future vow after 'unreal' Dutch GP delight

Isack Hadjar declared the first podium finish of his F1 career as "unreal" but has vowed it will not be his last.

Hadjar delivered superbly in qualifying to land fourth on the grid at Zandvoort in his Racing Bulls, however, few would have backed him to hold on to that position by the end of the race.
