Leclerc's brother confirms racing plans for 2022

Charles Leclerc's brother Arthur has confirmed what he'll be doing in 2022 as part of the Ferrari Academy.

Arthur Leclerc, younger brother of current Ferrari F1 driver Charles, will continue on his climb up the single-seater ladder this year by racing in the Formula 3 category. The younger Leclerc joined the series in 2021 and won two races during the season, as well as scoring a pole position at the Hungaroring. Continuity is the name of the game for Leclerc for his second season, as he'll stay on with the PREMA team. This will be his third successive season with PREMA, having raced with the Italian outfit in the Formula Regional European Championship in 2020. Leclerc also remains part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, just like his brother was on his rise to the top levels of motorsport. "I am extremely happy to continue the work we started with PREMA Racing in the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship," Leclerc said of the announcement. "I think we did a good job last year, and 2022 will be a good opportunity to put together everything we have learned so far. I cannot wait for the season to start."
