Charles Leclerc failed to progress into the final stage of qualifying at the British Grand Prix and is set to start the race from the mid-pack.
The Monegasque driver's final effort was not enough to finish in the top 10, with Lance Stroll's lap time dumping him into the drop zone with the 11th quickest time.
It marks the second time this year Leclerc has failed to take part in Q2 after he was also eliminated early in Canada.
Ferrari has struggled for form of late having started the season in strong fashion by scoring multiple podiums and two race wins.
However, it has since been overtaken by McLaren and Mercedes in the pecking order as it continues to work on a fix to its struggles.
