Charles Leclerc says he is already learning lessons from Lewis Hamilton's approach at Ferrari, labelling them "super cool."
The two drivers are new team-mate for the 2025 season after Hamilton switched from Mercedes, with both getting their first taste of the SF-25 machine at Fiorano on Wednesday (February 19th).
Hamilton has been conducting Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) running for Ferrari, and also drove the 2024 machine in Pirelli testing at Barcelona as he tries to adjust to the Ferrari power unit and systems after 12 years at Mercedes.
Leclerc has long been embedded at Ferrari, and debuted for the team in 2019 after graduating from the driver academy, with a rookie season at Sauber in 2018.
Despite his experience, the Monegasque has revealed how examining Hamilton's approach has started to reap rewards.
"I mean it is always very interesting in the first few weeks with a new team-mate, and especially when it is Lewis Hamilton, he has achieved so much that it is super interesting," Leclerc told media when asked by RacingNews365 how the experience of working with Hamilton had begun.
"It is super cool for me to be able to analyse how he actually works day-to-day with his engineers, what are the comments that he makes, what are the things he takes, and where he puts particular attention.
"It has been a very successful approach and he is the most successful driver in Formula 1, so of course I have been looking and trying to analyse and learn as much as I can from Lewis.
"In these first few weeks, it is very difficult because we haven't been with the same car at the same time on the track, but I can see the traits in his driving style, and it is really cool to see.
"We also have a good relationship, we've managed to spend quite a bit of time together and we cannot wait to start to race each other."
