Charles Leclerc has scoffed at Max Verstappen's claims he could have won the 2024 F1 world championship in a Ferrari or McLaren. 

Red Bull racer Verstappen wrapped up his fourth title last time out in Las Vegas, but after winning seven of the first 10 races, has won just one in the last 12.

Schumacher to leave Mercedes F1 role

Mick Schumacher will leave his position as F1 reserve driver at Mercedes following the completion of the current campaign.

The team has announced the German "has chosen to leave his role", having come onboard at the start of 2023, following the end of his full-time drive at Haas.

Leading F1 steward departs role

Leading Formula 1 race steward Tim Mayer has departed his role with the FIA. 

Mayer, a motorsport executive and son of McLaren co-founder Teddy Mayer, last served as chairman of the stewards for the United States and Mexico City Grands Prix, but has not been called up by F1's governing body since.

Norris suggests 'comedy' career for Verstappen after wild claim

Lando Norris has shut down Max Verstappen's claim he would have won the F1 title this year in the McLaren MCL38 car.

Verstappen clinched his fourth championship last time out in Las Vegas following a run to fifth place.

Hulkenberg to miss early part of Qatar Grand Prix weekend

Haas has confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg is to miss media day ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix through illness. 

The German racer will not be present on Thursday at the Lusail International Circuit due to a cold, with Haas opting to protect him for the remainder of the weekend.

Verstappen shuts down Norris with ‘slag-off’ warning

Max Verstappen has countered Lando Norris rubbishing his claim he would have won the F1 drivers' title earlier in a McLaren.

The Briton suggested the newly-crowned four-time champion should take up comedy before dismissing the idea altogether.
