Leclerc and Sainz set to report to stewards after Canada qualifying

After mixed fortunes for the Ferrari drivers in qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, both have been requested to report to the stewards for incidents in the session.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have both been requested to report to the stewards following qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix. It was a session of mixed fortunes for the Ferrari duo; Leclerc had already received engine penalties prior to qualifying, meaning that he will start the race from the back of the grid. Sainz, meanwhile, qualified in P3, behind pole-sitter Max Verstappen and second-placed Fernando Alonso. However, both Leclerc and Sainz have been called to the stewards for allegedly driving unnecessarily slowly during the early minutes of qualifying. Each driver and a team representative will be required to see the stewards at 18:30 local time (23:30 BST).
