Yuki Tsunoda will start from the pit lane in the Spanish Grand Prix after Red Bull changed the rear wing on the back of his RB21
The Japanese driver was due to start from P19 - last place after Aston Martin withdrew Lance Stroll on medical grounds.
Because the rear wing is of a different specification, his car has now been taken out of parc ferme conditions and he will not form part of the actual grid.
After qualifying, Tsunoda gave the impression a penalty-inducing change to his car was unlikely, but the team has now sought to make a late change.
Max Verstappen, meanwhile, will start from third at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, having qualified behind the McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
