Lap count for each F1 team after Day 2 of pre-season testing

Day 2 of pre-season testing is over in Bahrain - here are the lap counts for every team on the second day of running, and the test overall.

Formula 1 teams managed 1,317 laps between them on the second day of pre-season in Bahrain. The AlphaTauri duo of Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries topped the list with a combined 159 - eclipsing the 157 set by Max Verstappen on the opening day. Problems on Day 2 limited Verstappen's running in the afternoon session - but he still went second quickest, only being pipped by a Zhou Guanyu glory run late on. Elsewhere, Mercedes were the only team not to smash the 100 lap mark on Day 2, with George Russell limited to just 26 laps after a hydraulic problem ended his session early. Lap counts from Day 2 of testing are below.

Williams top running total

Surprisingly, it is Williams who top the cumulative lap totals after the first two days. Logan Sargeant clocked up a healthy 154 laps on his whole day behind the wheel to put the team at 303 for the test so far. AlphaTauri and Red Bull are closely matched with the 10 teams having got through 2,593 ahead of the final day of running on Saturday.
