Lando Norris will be called to see the stewards after the free practice session in Miami.
Shortly after the session got underway, Norris stated that tools had been left behind in the cockpit of the MCL38 challenger.
“You've left so many tools in the cockpit,” Norris said over team radio. “Everything is just falling apart! I have to box this lap”
Norris swiftly returned to the pit lane where he disposed of the items before heading back onto the circuit.
However, the situation has caught the attention of the stewards, who will investigate the matter after the sole practice session.
Norris enters the race weekend looking to regain the championship lead he lost to team-mate Oscar Piastri last time out in Saudi Arabia.
