Jack Doohan will visit the F1 stewards after the final practice session in Saudi Arabia after failing to follow the race director's instructions on two occasions.
Doohan's second alleged infringement occurred just nine minutes after his first, as on both occasions, he dipped a wheel into the painted area between the track and the pit lane.
It was a move specifically outlawed by F1 race director Rui Marquez in his event notes ahead of the weekend.
Following the second occurrence, Doohan's race engineer got on the radio to notify his driver.
“We've had another warning for the start/finish line infringement again, so we just need to be very careful there,” he said.
Doohan swiftly replied: “Can someone show me on the onboard please?” before his race engineer came back with: “Affirm, we'll get a screenshot for you.”
Liam Lawson was flagged for the same infringement on two occasions during Friday practice and was subsequently handed a reprimand.
