Is rain set to interrupt another F1 weekend?

Rain has impacted every race weekend since the Miami Grand Prix in May, is the same set to happen again?

The last time a Formula 1 weekend took place without rain interrupting it was the Miami Grand Prix in May, and it looks like that could continue this weekend. Mixed weather is predicted for the 13th race weekend of the season at Zandvoort, with the biggest threats on Friday and Saturday. With thanks to our friends at WeerOnline.nl , here's the current weather forecast for the 2023 F1 Dutch GP.

Friday and Saturday biggest rain threat

Friday afternoon is set to see showers as wind blows in from west to the northwest, with a chance of thunderstorms being at around 5%. Temperatures will range from 20 to 22 degrees centigrade, with an overcast day that will see occasional sunshine. On Saturday there is also a chance of showers with the threat higher for third practice (40%) compared to qualifying (35%), with thunderstorms still a chance in the evening. The uncertainty in the weather forecast continues with around a 40% chance of rain set for the morning of the race day, although systems predict that it could still impact the race.
