McLaren's upturn in form of late has transitioned it into a race-winning outfit, as it prevailed at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this month.
Lando Norris bagged his maiden race win in Florida and came within seven-tenths of a second of capturing another win at Imola last weekend.
The Briton has declared that he expects McLaren to challenge Red Bull for the world championship in 2025, one year prior to the shake-up in the technical regulations.
But can the Woking-based squad offer Red Bull a fight before that and get involved in the hunt for the title this year?
After the opening six rounds, Verstappen holds a 50-point lead over Norris in the drivers' championship, while Red Bull lead McLaren by 114 points in the teams' standings.
