Mattia Binotto has returned to a full-time role in F1, agreeing to become the chief operating and chief technical officer of the Audi project.
Audi, who will arrive on the grid in 2026, has gone through a major technical overhaul that has seen Andreas Seidl and Oliver Hoffmann depart the company.
The German manufacturer will take over the Sauber Group, which currently operates the Stake F1 team on the current grid,
Binotto is most well known for his team principal role at Ferrari, a position he held for four seasons spanning 2019 to 2022.
