A car from Michael Schumacher's remarkable first Formula 1 World Championship with Ferrari will soon go under the hammer.
One of the cars which took Schumacher to his third Drivers' Championship, a V10-powered F1-2000 from the 2000 season, will soon be sold in an RM Sotheby's auction in Hong Kong.
Starting life as Schumacher's spare car for 2000, this particular car - chassis number 198 - was driven to victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix, and achieved Pole Position at the Spanish and Monaco Grands Prix - Schumacher's only Pole Position at Monaco in a Ferrari.
To get an idea of the price, Ferrari's 2003 championship-winning car was sold at auction for a record amount in November 2022, selling to an unnamed buyer for $14,630,000.
Similarly, Schumacher's 2001 car - the F2001 - sold for $7,504,000 in 2017.
