Lando Norris will take the start of the Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position, with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri alongside him on the front row. The duo will be hoping to bring home a successful result for McLaren and close the gap to Red Bull in the constructors' championship. Rainfall hit the Hungaroring on Saturday before qualifying, making the track slippery for the drivers. Although conditions are set to stay hot during the grand prix, the threat of rain will remain in place for the start of the race. A 40 per cent chance of rain is forecast for lights out despite an air temperature of 29°C being present. The track temperature will be even higher, meaning any potential rainfall will quickly be dried off by the hot asphalt. Drivers will not have to contend with high wind speeds, making their job of navigating the narrow Hungaroring track that little bit easier.
