Nico Hulkenberg has been summoned by Austrian Grand Prix stewards over multiple infringements in qualifying.
The race director's event notes state that as drivers exit their garages, if they place a wheel over the white line marking the fast-lane of the pit-lane, they will have priority over cars waiting to join the track.
However, if no part of the wheel is over the white line, the driver in the fast-lane has priority and those exiting their garages must wait.
In both Q1 and Q2, Hulkenberg exited the Haas garage and 'pushed in' and did not meet the requirements laid out in Niels Wittich's instructions, including against Sergio Perez's Red Bull in Q2.
In the Perez incident, Hulkenberg was held by his mechanic in position to allow Lando Norris to filter through, with the German then pulling into a place where the front-left was in the fast-lane - giving Hulkenberg priority.
However, it was close with Perez as to who actually got to the position first, hence the stewards investigation.
He would go onto qualify in 10th place but must attend the stewards at 1730 local time.
