Christian Horner is ready to take the fight to Mercedes at this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, though he admits the Silver Arrows looked 'mighty' during Friday practice. Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton finished one-two in both sessions as the reigning champions look much improved after some struggles in Bahrain. Their performance stands in stark contrast to that of Red Bull, who saw Sergio Perez collide with Esteban Ocon in FP1 while Max Verstappen's RB16B stopped during FP2. Horner, in conversation with RacingNews365.com and other members of the media, believes Mercedes look back on track at Imola given the pace they put on display. "Mercedes looked mighty in both sessions," Horner said. "We've had a sample of one track so far. "They didn't have a clean pre-season but they were every bit as quick, if not quicker, in the race. They certainly had better degradation in the race. "They've been extremely strong here in both sessions with both cars. We've got to try and give them a hard time." Red Bull have had a few issues in terms of reliability so far this season, but Horner isn't concerned about the issues at this time as it's something all teams have to come to grips with. "I think it's an Achilles heel for all teams when you're always pushing the envelope," Horner stated. "Reliability is something you are always nervous about, but you'd rather it happen on a Friday than a Sunday.
