Christian Horner admits that while Wednesday's filming session at Silverstone was all about making sure the basics are in check, it's always great to see the latest Red Bull car, in this case the RB16B, take the track. Sergio Perez was the first driver to take the team's latest entry onto the track, all of which were trouble free. Max Verstappen got in on the festivities as well, with Horner remarking that overall the day was a success. “It’s always great to see a new car hit the track for the first time and to see the drivers get their first laps in," Horner said in a Red Bull press release. "Today is for filming but allows us to make sure all the basics are functioning well before it all gets packed up and sent out to Bahrain and in that regard today was a success. "It was good also to have Alex [Albon] here driving the RB15 along with Max. It’s important for Alex to stay sharp as he’s going to play a crucial role in the development of RB16B.”
