Harry Potter star Tom Felton is set to make his racing debut as part of Formula E's 'Evo Sessions' with Sergio Aguero already signed up.
Felton, who played the titular character's enemy Draco Malfoy in all eight films between 2001 and 2011 is one of four further names announced by FE as taking part in the new initiative that sees social media influencers and other well-known celebrities paired with one team apiece to learn how to become an FE driver.
The celebrities are being trained how to drive the Gen 3 EVO, which can reach 0-60mph in just 1.82s and is faster than a current F1 car.
A special event is to held at Miami's Hard Rock stadium - host of the F1 race - on March 5/6th to showcase the progress, with simulator sessions, engineering briefings and physical conditioning all part of the programme.
Ex-Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona striker-turned YouTuber Aguero is one name already signed up, with the son of former England captain and Manchester United star David Beckham, Brooklyn, also taking part.
Along with Felton, content creators from Australia, Mexico and Britain have also been confirmed, with Supercar Blondie, JUCA and Driver61 joining up, respectively.
The announcement brings the total to 10 confirmed celebrities with one more expected.
Speaking of the news, Felton, more accustomed to the Quidditch pitch rather FE cockpit recalled his first driving lessons with his father, who will hear about this.
"I’ve grown up loving wheels my entire life, from my dad teaching me to ride a bicycle to putting my first poster up on my bedroom wall of a supercar," he said.
"When I learned to drive a car it was the most liberating experience I’ve ever had. Better than a broomstick even...
"From my dad teaching me to feather a clutch in our 1979 Ford Fiesta which he had taught my
three older brothers to drive in, to driving my first sports car, nothing could compare to the excitement I have to actually be seated in the driver’s seat of arguably the most exciting vehicle on four wheels on the planet.
"I know it needs a fifth wheel to steer and I am beyond thrilled to be given the opportunity to do so.
"I’ll play it cool on the day obviously but my inner nine-year-old self will be screaming with joy the moment I get even close to the Formula E car - let alone get to actually drive one!
"It’ll be a pinch myself, a dream-come-true moment, and I will make the most of every second."
