Ferrari is putting on a demonstration run for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in Milan ahead of the new F1 season starting.

The two drivers will showcase recent former F1 cars from the Scuderia around the streets of the Italian city tomorrow, Thursday 6 March.

It is the first time the Maranello-based squad has been to Milan in six years, when the team held an event to mark its 90th anniversary when the team met with fans there.

Hamilton will drive the SF21 from the fateful 2021 season, whilst Leclerc will run in his first Ferrari, the SF90 from 2019.

The street demo will involve "full on acceleration, rapid pit stops and spectacular burnouts", according to the team.

It will begin at 4pm local time and will be accompanied by a DJ set. An hour later, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna will appear on stage, prior to appearances from team principal Fred Vasseur and his two drivers.

Live commentary of the event will be conducted in part by former Ferrari F1 driver Ivan Capelli.

Two historic Ferrari cars will join the guests on stage: Michael Schumacher's F2004, which he won his seventh and final F1 drivers' championship with and the 2006 248 F1, his last car with the team.
