Hamilton summoned to stewards after Singapore practice

The Mercedes driver has been summoned to the stewards over an alleged breach of Appendix L of the International Sporting Code.

Lewis Hamilton has been summoned to see the stewards after Singapore Grand Prix practice for an alleged breach of Appendix L of the International Sporting Code. Appendix L relates to Drivers equipment, specifically the wearing of helmets, flame-resistant clothing, Frontal Head Restraint (FHR), safety Belts, and the wearing of jewellery. F1's new Race Directors, Niels Wittich and Eduardo Freitas, started to enforce the rule forbidding drivers from wearing jewellery in the car which was introduced in 2005. Hamilton has previously fell foul of the rule earlier in the season, when he was given a two-race exemption to the ban oringally meant to be enforced for the Monaco Grand Prix.
