Lewis Hamilton has taken to social media again to share some photos from his winter break, having been silent for almost two months. Hamilton's channels went quiet after the controversial conclusion to the 2021 F1 season but he emerged on Saturday with a post declaring that "I'm back" and followed it up with a video of himself training ahead of the new campaign . Mercedes also confirmed to RacingNews365.com that Hamilton was back at the team's factory on Monday and Tuesday.
What has Hamilton been up to?
On Tuesday evening, Hamilton shared another social media update with a selection of photos taken over the last couple of months. In one photo, he can be seen posing with his mother, Carmen, outside Windsor Castle after receiving his knighthood – the Briton's last public appearance. Other images show him relaxing with his family. Mercedes will launch their new F1 car, the W13, next Friday (18 February), with Hamilton set to partner new arrival George Russell at the team for 2022.
