Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he shares a strong relationship with senior management figures at Ferrari.
The seven-time World Champion is contracted to race at Mercedes until at least the end of 2025 after signing an extension earlier this year.
Hamilton has been linked with a Ferrari switch in the past, with Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner claiming that Hamilton held talks with the Italian squad before extending his Mercedes deal.
Speaking to media including RacingNews365.com, Hamilton stated that he enjoys a positive link with Ferrari chairman John Elkann.
“I know John really well, we met years ago in a Google camp, I went to a Google camp in Sicily,” he said.
“That’s when our friendship started and we've always remained in touch.”

Hamilton and Vasseur
Hamilton previously worked with current Ferrari Team Principal Frederic Vasseur, winning the 2006 GP2 Series with ART Grand Prix - a squad co-founded by Vasseur.
The duo still maintain a strong relationship to this day in the F1 paddock.
“I’ve known Fred since 2005,” Hamilton said. “We’ve always had a really great relationship and we talk often, particularly since most of the time he’s been in F1.
“We would talk all the time, obviously when I was in his team, and when I came to F1 and I had less contact with the Formula 2 series.
“Since he's been back, we've met here, we've travelled together with Toto. That's really as far it goes.”
