An emotional Lewis Hamilton has detailed his "special" Ferrari debut which, just like that of fellow seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher, took place in foggy conditions.

Hamilton completed 30 laps of Ferrari's Fiorano Circuit on Wednesday morning in front of roughly 2,000 adoring fans.

Ferrari confirm Hamilton to follow in Vettel footsteps as new era begins

Ferrari has confirmed Lewis Hamilton will work with race engineer Ricciardo Adami following the seven-time F1 champion's opening day at the wheel of a scarlet machine.

As part of an intense build-up to his debut with Ferrari in the Australian Grand Prix in mid-March, Hamilton sampled the 2023 car, the SF-23, at the Scuderia's Fiorano test track at Maranello.

Christian Horner makes Red Bull F1 debut

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner recently got behind the wheel of the RB8 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

It marked the first outing Horner has ever had in a Red Bull F1 car despite leading the team since its inception in 2005.

Norris issues ‘fight’ pledge after Verstappen heartbreak

Lando Norris has pledged that he is ready to "fight" to win the F1 drivers' title this year after the heartbreak he suffered last season against Max Verstappen.

Racing Bulls team boss reveals remarkable strategy for 2025

The 2024 F1 campaign marked Laurent Mekies' first season as a team principal as he moved to the forefront of the Racing Bulls team following a five-year stint in a senior role at Ferrari.

It was not Mekies' first experience at the Red Bull sister squad. From 2005 to 2012, he held the role of chief engineer when it ran under the Toro Rosso moniker before spending two years as the head of vehicle performance.

Williams sign Le Mans winner to support Sainz and Albon

Williams has signed the highly experienced Oliver Turvey as its new test and development driver.

The F1 team has confirmed that Turvey will "play a pivotal part in advancing Williams' development programmes and simulator operations to support our race drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz - one of the most formidable line-ups in Formula 1'.
