Lewis Hamilton has escaped penalty from the FIA after a stewards investigation involving Lando Norris in Abu Dhabi. With Hamilton a slow lap on the racing line, Norris approached at speed, but did not take the space on offer to the inside as he was unsure if Hamilton would cut across to start a flying lap, the stewards found in their investigation. It was put down as a misunderstanding between the two, with the stewards electing to take no further action.
