Lewis Hamilton has insisted the pending completion of an investigation into Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner which is "hanging over" F1 will be "a really important moment for the sport".
Horner has been under internal investigation by Red Bull GmbH over allegations made by a female employee over his behaviour.
The matter has overshadowed Red Bull's season launch of the RB20 and pre-season testing, though an outcome is expected to be communicated ahead of track action at this weekend's Bahrain Grand prix.

'Any allegations have to be taken very seriously'
During media day at the Bahrain International Circuit, Hamilton was asked how much of an issue F1 faced given Horner has been present in official FIA-F1 matters whilst being placed under investigation.
Replying to media including RacingNews365, Hamilton explained: "We always have to do more to try to make the sport and the environment that people get to work in feel safe and inclusive.
"Any allegations have to be taken very seriously.
"Obviously, we don't know everything that has gone on but it does need to be resolved as it's hanging over the sport.
"It will be really interesting to see how it's dealt with moving forward in terms of the effect it may or may not have on the sport.
"I think it is a really important moment for the sport to make sure we stand true to our values."
