Lewis Hamilton has gifted employees of his former Mercedes team a parting gift following his departure to Ferrari.

Hamilton quit Mercedes at the end of 2024, signing a multi-year agreement for Ferrari to partner Charles Leclerc, and has been completing private and Pirelli tyre testing in Barcelona ahead of pre-season testing later this month.

The Hamilton-Mercedes partnership is the most successful driver-team pairing in F1 history, with 84 wins and six drivers' championships, achieved over 12 seasons since Hamilton joined from McLaren for 2013.

To commemorate the spell, Hamilton commissioned F1 artist Paul Oz to create one original artwork and 3,000 prints of him driving at the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix - a race he won.

This is particularly poignant as the car features a red halo, a Mercedes tribute to Niki Lauda, who had passed away the week before the race. The three-time champion was a big factor in Hamilton joining Mercedes, building a strong bond with him over the years.

Each team member has received a print of the artwork, with the original painting set to be displayed at Mercedes' Brackley HQ.
