Hamilton ends partnership with key Mercedes team member

The Mercedes driver has announced that he will no longer work with his trainer of seven years.

Lewis Hamilton has ended his partnership with long-time physio and trainer Angela Cullen. The Mercedes driver announced the change on social media that the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix will be Cullen's last race working with him after seven years. Cullen's first race with Hamilton was at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix, and has been a key member within his circle on his way to seven world titles. In a separate post Cullen added: "I am so grateful and blessed to have had this incredible journey in F1 and I know my story will continue. "Thanks to the MB team, who have been my family for the past 7 years. And Lewis Hamilton you GOAT !! It’s been such an honour and pleasure to stand along side you I’m so proud of you and everything you have achieved. "Thank you for supporting me, believing in me and showing me the limitless potential we all have within us. I am so excited to watch the next chapter for you. There’s nothing you can’t do."
