Lewis Hamilton is to be reunited with long-time personal aide Angela Cullen following his move to Ferrari and in his bid to secure an eighth F1 title.

The seven-time F1 champion last worked with Cullen two years ago before a split given the apparent demands on her time.

Over the intervening period, Cullen has worked closely with fellow New Zealander Marcus Armstrong, who races in IndyCar.

Cullen was present for the final four of Hamilton's six titles with Mercedes.

RacingNews365 can confirm that Cullen has been signed to Hamilton's Project 44 management company and will serve as the team's physio.

Her return to Hamilton's side represents a considerable boost for the 105-time grand prix winner in his quest to clinch a record eighth drivers' championship.

The pair have maintained contact over the past two years since it was announced in March 2023 she was moving on.

Hamilton and Cullen 'through thick and thin'

At the time, Hamilton could understand her reasons, describing it as "an incredibly challenging role for anyone in those positions".

He added: "It is a lot of travelling and a lot of time away from your family. You grow incredibly close together. If you’re at dinner, during your weekends and while you’re travelling, it’s usually you, your trainer or physio, your family or whatever it may be.

"It’s incredibly intimate in that sense, and you become great friends."

“Angela is living her life right now. She’s got so many great ideas of things she wants to do. We message pretty much every day.

“We’re still going skydiving together, we’re always going to be in each other’s lives. We’re stuck with each other, unfortunately, or fortunately!

"We’ve been through thick and thin, so I’m grateful that our relationship is as good as it is, and I think we’ve probably had one of the longest relationships in the sport, so I'm incredibly grateful for her and I love her dearly."
