Lewis Hamilton and George Russell failed to appear for media duties following the Singapore Grand Prix due to falling ill after the race. Singapore's climate makes the grand prix around the Marina Bay Circuit one of the physically toughest of the year. Race-winner Lando Norris admitted that he was feeling “dizzy” while standing in parc ferme after jumping out of his car. Drivers normally report to the TV and written media after the race - however the Mercedes duo skipped the commitments on medical grounds. “Unfortunately neither George or Lewis will be attending the media pen this evening as they recover from the exertions of this evening’s race,” Mercedes confirmed. Russell crossed the line fourth place while Hamilton ended the race in sixth. Team boss Toto Wolff later provided an update on the condition of the pair - available here.
