Haas is to confirm Ollie Bearman as the first part of its driver line-up for 2025, with an announcement due over the course of the British Grand Prix week, RacingNews365 can reveal.

The decision by team principal Ayao Komatsu to sign the 19-year-old Briton does not come as a surprise. Bearman has proven himself to the team since the end of last season when he took part in free practice sessions in Mexico City and Abu Dhabi.

Police deliver crucial update into Hamilton sabotage claim

Mercedes has been told by the police that "no criminal offences" have been committed in the anonymous email that was distributed around the F1 paddock over the Spanish Grand Prix.

The email alleged nefarious undertakings were happening at the Brackley-based team to disadvantage Lewis Hamilton, with accusations that his car, as well as tyre and race strategies were being sabotaged from within the team itself.

Ferrari monitoring 'clear' Verstappen Red Bull 'development' test

Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur has raised concerns over Max Verstappen's recent testing of previous cars (TPC), which was conducted ahead of last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

It was revealed going into the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya that Verstappen and Red Bull had been to Imola a few days ahead of the race to conduct a test.

Verstappen to make Goodwood debut in huge Red Bull celebrations

Max Verstappen will headline the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS), with the Dutchman finally to make his debut in the prestigious event.

The reigning world champion will be part of a significant Red Bull presence at the event being held from the 12th - 14th July.

Williams looking to ease 'pain' after Spanish 'disaster'

James Vowles is confident Williams "should be back fighting for points" in the next two grands prix despite suffering a "disaster" in Spain.

It was a weekend to forget for the Grove-based team at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya as its cars were again shown to be wind-sensitive, a flaw in its character the team has struggled with previously and has clearly failed to overcome.

Marko: Competitive Mercedes 'works out well' for Red Bull

Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko wants Mercedes to be back in the race-winning picture, as it will benefit his team over the rest of the season.

The Brackley-based outfit has closed up to the only-recently-formed trio of Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari since the Monaco Grand Prix, and was ahead of the Scuderia at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in the most recent round.
