George Russell is facing a visit to the F1 stewards at the Austrian Grand Prix for an alleged infringement during qualifying.
As the cars emerged from the garage at the start of Q3, Russell creeped out into the pit lane as he looked to join the queue.
However, he was forced to hit the brakes as the Ferrari drivers of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were progressing down the pit lane at the same time.
The Briton came to a stop with his front left tyre and half of his front wing over the white line that marks the pit lane.
The incident caught the attention of the stewards, who have summoned Russell to a hearing after the session.
Russell ended qualifying in fifth place, while Mercedes team-mate Kimi Antonelli was fifth.
