Marta Garcia has sealed the 2023 F1 Academy title at the United States Grand Prix with a win from pole - but will not return in 2024.
Needing only a top three finish from the first of three races on the support package for the Formula 1 race, Garcia dominated from pole position to become the inaugural champion of the F1-backed all-female series.
The win was Garcia's seventh of the season in her Prema Racing machine and third in a row, having claimed success in Races 2 and 3 at Paul Ricard last time out.
Garcia defeated Alpine F1 junior Abbi Pulling in the Austin race to seal her title, and while a champion is not prohibited from defending her title, Spaniard Garcia is likely to move up to the Formula Regional European - the step below Formula 3.
