George Russell will start the Qatar Grand Prix from pole position following a penalty for Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman set the fastest lap in Lusail on Saturday but was placed under investigation for allegedly driving too slowly during Q3, which resulted in a near miss with Russell.
His one-place grid drop keeps him on the front row - but behind the Mercedes driver.
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will fill out the second row of the grid as they look to keep the Ferrari drivers behind in the constructors' standings.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will line up in fifth and seventh respectively with Lewis Hamilton lodged between them.
