There has reportedly been interest already for Nyck de Vries after AlphaTauri severed ties midway through the 2023 Formula 1 season. The Dutchman was dropped in favour of Daniel Ricciardo, who makes his F1 return with the team at the Hungarian Grand Prix. De Vries, who won the 2020/21 Formula E World Championship, has reportedly gained interest from Nissan as they look to replace Norman Nato for next season. Nissan Formula E Team Principal, Tommaso Volpe, told The Race : "He’s of interest as one of the drivers available for next season. He is interesting as a world champion, but I cannot confirm what we are doing.” The Dutchman would likely be considered alongside Oliver Rowland for the seat.
