FIA show new images of revolutionary F1 car

The F1 regulations will undergo a major change for the 2026 F1 season - but the cars have been tweaked slightly.

The FIA has revealed slight modifications to the 2026 F1 technical regulations.

The cars are set to undergo a major overhaul in just over one year's time with both the aerodynamic and power unit elements changing.

It marks one of the biggest technical changes for some time, but teams are not allowed to start construction of the new cars until January 1, 2025.

With the start point fast approaching and constructors looking to get a headstart on the project, the FIA outlined that the technical regulations had been “refined” following a recent meeting of the World Motor Sport Council.

On Thursday, it shared updated images of the 2026 car. It is clear the front and rear wings have been modified compared to the original version.
