Zhou Guanyu will start the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from the back of the grid, following two component changes.
Stake F1 has fitted a new energy store and control electronics to Zhou's car for this weekend in Azerbaijan.
Each driver is only allowed two of each part during an F1 season, whilst the Chinese driver has been fitted with a third of each.
As a result of the Hinwil-based team fitting a new energy store and control electronics beyond Zhou's legal pool, the 25-year-old is in breach of Article 28.2 of the sporting regulations.
With it being the first of each component outside of Zhou's allocated pool, it is a 10-place grid penalty per component, totalling a 20-place grid drop for the driver at the Baku City Circuit.
However, as he has already accrued more than 15 cumulative grid position penalties this season, he will actually have to start from the back of the grid in Baku, in accordance with Article 42.3 d.
