Ferrari is set to match one of Red Bull's biggest sponsors, in a deal set to be announced before the Miami Grand Prix.

RacingNews365 understands that it has not been signed yet, but that confirmation is close of a long-term title sponsorship deal that will match what Oracle brings to Red Bull.

Russell's plea

Mercedes' start to the season has been below-par by the expectations it had coming into the season - and George Russell believes the team needs to simplify its approach.

He has scored Mercedes' best result this season with a fifth place in Bahrain, although Lewis Hamilton was second in the China sprint.

But the younger Briton almost wants a 'back-to-basics' approach.

The talk of restructuring the points system so the top 12 get points is set to be debated at the upcoming F1 Commission meeting.
