Ferrari has unveiled a new floor for this weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix as it makes a final concerted bid to overhaul McLaren in the fight for this year's constructors' title.

McLaren has become the team to beat after reeling in constructors' champions Red Bull. Going into the season-ending triple-header that commences with Saturday night's race in Sin City, the team has a 36-point cushion over Ferrari, with Red Bull a further 13 points adrift.

The Scuderia's latest and final major update of the season sees a new floor on the SF-24s of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Ferrari describes the update as featuring "reworked front-floor fences targeting an improvement of the losses travelling downstream.

"The front-floor body volume has subsequently optimised together with the floor edge loading and vortex shedding into the diffuser."

Although the floor is "not a mega step", according to performance engineer Jock Clear, it may yet prove vital at the range of three different circuits remaining.

Ferrari is one of nine teams to bring updates, with Williams the only team not to do so, unsurprisingly given the spate of recent crashes that have eaten into its budget cap and left it short on parts.

As for the other eight teams beyond Ferrari and Williams, the majority have brought circuit-specific front wings, including Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, and Aston Martin.

The component will help counterbalance the reduced rear-wing levels required for this track.

Stake has also brought a new floor, although it is an entirely new concept rather than an upgrade as it looks to score its first point of the season, and with the hope it will provide a platform going into next season on which it can build. Its car also has a new diffuser.

The Haas cars also have a new floor body, whilst RB has brought a new engine cover, rear suspension and rear corner. Alpine has simply altered its front drum fence.
