Ferrari has been fined €100 after Carlos Sainz was found to have broken the pit-lane speed limit in Dutch Grand Prix Qualifying.
Owing to the short pit-lane at Zandvoort, the limit in force this weekend is just 60kph (37.2mph).
During the wet Q1, Sainz was found to have broken the limit by clocking in at 60.5kph (37.5mph) at the detection point.
Both Sainz and teammate Charles Leclerc advanced throughout the Q3 pole shootout after a difficult day in the wet, including multiple lock-ups at Turn 1 in final practice.
However, with four minutes remaining in Q3, Leclerc crashed heavily after understeering wide and thumping the left-hand side of his SF-23 into the barrier, triggering a red flag.
