Ferrari has confirmed that Lewis Hamilton will be replaced by Arthur Leclerc, the brother of Charles for first practice ahead of this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Leclerc brothers also partnered each other in FP1 ahead of last season's Abu Dhabi GP, in what was a historic moment for the family.
Hamilton will miss first practice at the Yas Marina Circuit due to Ferrari still needing to field a rookie driver in one more FP1 session, as part of the mandatory rule all teams must follow.
It means the seven-time world champion will return to his SF-25 for second practice, the most representative practice session in Abu Dhabi.
The season finale is Hamilton's final chance to claim a podium for Ferrari in his maiden campaign with the Scuderia, having so far only managed a Sprint victory and rostrum.
Ferrari also confirmed that Dino Beganovic will drive the SF-25 in its current configuration in next Tuesday's post season test, while Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will complete half a day each.
Beganovic is part of the Scuderia's deveopment programme and currently competes in Formula 2, and has been used by Ferrari in the past in first practice sessions.
