Ferrari has announced Dino Beganovic will be back behind the wheel of the SF-25 during the first free practice session at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The Scuderia's academy product will take over Charles Leclerc's car at the Red Bull Ring, having been handed his FP1 debut earlier in the year, in Bahrain.

Currently tenth in the F2 drivers' standings, the 21-year-old deputised for the Monegasque driver in Sakhir.

The change at Spielberg means the Italian squad will have satisfied half of its mandated four rookie FP1 sessions for the current campaign - with the final two needing to be in Lewis Hamilton's car.

A member of the Ferrari junior programme since 2020, the Swedish driver finished sixth in FIA F3 in both 2023 and 2024.

Beganovic is the first confirmed FP1 change for the weekend in Austria.
