Even though Silverstone hosted the fictional 11th Formula 1 team for the upcoming Apple-produced film starring Brad Pitt, fans would like to see the grid increase in numbers.
Toto Wolff was opposed to the idea of new teams joining the F1 grid based purely on their nationality, as US-baed Andretti looks to secure a place with its Cadillac partnership.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem has urged "common sense" must be applied over their bid, as the capacity to increase the grid to 12 teams is an option.
In a poll conducted by RacingNews365, fans were asked: 'Do you agree with Toto Wolff's opposition to new F1 teams?'
Several responses were collected as of 11:30am on Monday 10th July, with the majority believing that the grid should be expanded based on previous teams joining.
The result was fairly one-sided, as 72.5% agreed that it would be better if F1 introduced a new team to the grid.
