A statement has been released by F1 on Sunday evening acknowledging that they've "noted" the current investigation being conducted into Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner.
Horner is currently under investigation after a female member of the team lodged a complaint against him of improper behaviour. The Red Bull boss was placed under investigation by Red Bull GmbH - the parent company of Red Bull Racing – but remains in charge of the F1 outfit and was present at the recent launch of their 2024 car.
He has denied all the allegations and has stressed that the ongoing investigation hasn't impacted the team's preparations for the upcoming season.
F1 are hopeful that the investigation will fairly conclude as soon as possible, with the sport insisting that they aren't in a position to make any comment on the matter.
F1's statement read: "We have noted that Red Bull has instigated an independent investigation into internal allegations at Red Bull Racing. We hope that the matter will be clarified at the earliest opportunity, after a fair and thorough process and we will not comment further at this time."
